Description:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees using our designated payroll software.
- Verify and input employee time and attendance records, deductions, and adjustments into the payroll system.
- Calculate and process special payments, including bonuses, commissions, overtime, and other adjustments.
- Ensure accurate taxation of salaries, benefits, and other compensation elements, staying up-to-date with tax regulations and changes.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, including changes in personal information, tax withholdings, and direct deposit details.
- Collaborate with HR and benefits administration to ensure accurate benefits deductions and enrollments.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and statements to relevant departments and management.
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll, deductions, and tax-related matters.
- Assist in preparing and filing payroll-related tax forms, including quarterly and annual filings.
- Participate in audits related to payroll and employee compensation.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES DURING NON-PAYROLL WEEK (T&E Support):
- Managing and monitoring Concur user profiles including setup, maintaining changes, additions, deactivations, troubleshooting technical user errors, field user questions, and payment inquiries
- Responsible for the review and processing of employee expense reports, assuring employees are abiding by corporate policy and alerting Corporate Accounting Manager of exceptions
- Prepare T&E training materials for new employees/users; assist with live group and individual user training sessions as necessary
- Act as corporate credit card administrator ordering and terminating employee accounts as necessary; assist with global corporate credit card integration
- Process and interpret various reports using Concur's reporting platform to lead development of accurate and timely reports on department spend for stakeholders
- Establish clearly defined standard operating procedures for Concur administration and streamline processes and manage communication within the business for effective control. This includes collaboration with Concur and third-party management personnel.
- Assist with integration and on-boarding of new affiliate locations into the Concur platform
Skills:
Payroll, multi-state, Payroll tax, Garnishments
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Knowledge/Experience with multi-state payroll tax research
- Bachelors degree is a strong preferred to have. IF not, 10+ years of experience would also be viable
