Job description
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer. The candidate will provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security and provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs.
**Must be a US Citizen**
Must hold a current Top Secret Clearance
Duties include, but not limited to :
- Provide cyber subject matter expertise to a variety of programs to ensure robust security architectures are designed and properly implemented within the DoD mandated Risk Management Framework.
- Reviewing vulnerability scans and web application scans using a variety of security tools.
- Performing duties as related to Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle.
- Providing support for documentation initiatives as related to System Security Plans (SSAs), Risk Assessment Plans (RAPs), Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs), Incident Response Plans (IRPs), and Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) standards.
- Perform system security testing and Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) continuous monitoring-related activities.
- Performing product evaluations and recommending / implementing products /services for network security.
- Conducting audits of system configurations and evaluating operational processes to ensure compliance with security directives and requirements.
- Reviewing and recommending the installation, modification, or replacement of hardware or software components and any configuration change(s) that affect security posture.
- Providing enforcement of security directives, orders, standards, plans and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum 10 years direct experience in Cybersecurity
- Minimum 10 years System Development Lifecycle Experience (software development, source code development, hardware integration, software virtualization, system admin, network infrastructure implementation, base admin (as developer/administrator).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience reviewing DoD, NIST and RMF information assurance certification and accreditation documentation, tracking system registration, managing information assurance training compliance, and tracking systems in Certification and Accreditation Tracking Database.
- RMF experience required.
- Must also possess knowledge of automated vulnerability scan tools (including Retina and ACAS) and have working knowledge of static source code tools (including Fortify and CAST) An IAM-III performing technical IAT functions will be required to attain a technical-level certification (CISSP / CISSP-ISSMP).
- Experience in the development, integration, and implementation of cyber security-related Authorization packages and program protection standards for Department of Defense (DoD) system-of-systems.
- Proficient with use of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and with reviewing / assessing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
Desired Requirements
- DoD 8570.01M compliant, IAT/IAM Level III
- CISSP
- Dragos Threat Monitoring Platform experience
Other Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance required
- DoD 8570.01M compliant, IAT/IAM Level II required
