We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a visionary and dynamic leader to join our institution as the next Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA). Our institution, a vibrant and innovative doctoral-granting university recognized as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), invites applications from passionate individuals who are committed to excellence in financial management and administration.

With an enrollment of approximately 11,000 students from across the globe and a dedicated team of over 1,300 faculty and staff, we pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive and enriching educational environment.

The role of VPFA is pivotal in ensuring our financial health and advancing the university's mission. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of implementing our strategic plan, "Islander Impact 2030," and managing a budget of over $275 million to support the university's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic leadership in financial planning and administration to support the university's growth and innovation.
Collaborative partnership with academic and administrative units to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Transparent communication with stakeholders to foster a culture of trust and accountability.
Championing initiatives that enhance student recruitment, retention, and overall welfare.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and administration, preferably within higher education.
A Bachelor's degree is required; a graduate degree or CPA license is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to be an effective, strategic decision-maker and a collaborative partner.
Strong commitment to transparency and excellence in communication.
