Job description

Now hiring a qualified RN / Registered Nurse with Psychiatric Nursing experience for an assignment in Alaska!!

Pay and Breakdown:

• $2,721-$3,142 weekly on 36 hours with potential to pick up overtime.
• Weekly direct deposit.
• W2 position with benefits available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
• Travel bonus to assignment.

Schedule and Timeline:

• 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
• 36 hours weekly.
• 3 x 12-hour shifts with potential to pick up overtime.
• Day and Night Shifts are available. 

Psychiatric RN / Registered Nurse Job Details:

• Psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care.
• Medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders.
• Providing psychological support to patients and their families.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting changes to behavior or health.
• Documenting patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and outcomes.
• Providing therapeutic communication and de-escalating situations that may arise.

Psychiatric RN / Registered Nurse Requirements:

• AK RN license or ability to obtain 
• BLS certification.
• Clean background and drug screen upon hire.
• Psychiatric or Correctional Nursing experience.
