Oliver Inc . is seeking an experienced HR Manager for our Brooklyn, Ohio facility to lead and direct all functions of the Human Resources department, consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between Oliver's management and its employees. The ideal candidate is not only experienced in HR but is also a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Paying attention to details is crucial in HR to ensure accuracy in documentation, compliance, and policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing biweekly payrolls for all exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
• Build a relationship with employees through day-to-day interaction. Act as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing and resolving concerns in a timely and fair manner.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
• Conduct new hire and benefit open enrollment, benefit changes, etc. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
• Administer all aspects of 401(k) plan, audits, and reports.
• Work directly with managers and supervisors on employee performance. Provide guidance and advice to managers on employee issues and disciplinary actions as necessary. Support management initiatives.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A broad knowledge of payroll, payroll taxes and the technical/administrative skill associated with AR, and/or AP processes.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
