Content Manager, Far Niente Wine Estates

Founded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
•  Creating and maintaining a streamlined content calendar that keeps the whole team on track Writing, editing, and publishing content pieces with a journalist’s mindset.
•  Develop and curate engaging content to be distributed in various communication channels, including website, blog, social media, e-commerce offers, sales & consumer newsletters and printed marketing materials.
•  Generate innovative ideas to keep the brand at the forefront of consumer awareness.
•  Craft compelling and unique stories that showcase the essence of our wineries, wines, vineyards, people, sustainable practices, gardens, historic buildings and more.
•  Proofreading and editing according to brand guidelines
•  Identifying gaps in content and recommending new topics
•  Helping to evolve and ensure that the brand voice messaging is communicated in content based on established brand DNAs and following brand pillars.
•  Editing a portion of the channel content to ensure voice, grammar and style is on point.
•  Distilling complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood.
•  Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style.
•  Managing and completing work on time for multiple content writing projects.

You will be qualified for this role if you met these requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience as a Content Manager or similar role, preferably in the wine, travel, or luxury goods industry.
•  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
•  Advanced writing and editing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to come up with creative ideas. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to come up with creative ideas. Ability to solve problems swiftly. Advanced computer skills. Attention to detail.
•  Excellent communications, organizational and project management skills.
•  Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
