MBA for Professionals and Managers (MBA.PM)

The University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business seeks a self-motivated, high energy, innovative professional to be the next Student Services Advisor II to support students in the MBA for Professionals and Managers (MBA.PM) program.

Marshall’s MBA for Professionals and Managers (MBA.PM) program is an MBA degree designed for fully employed students who complete the degree in 33-months. Classes meet in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, Monday-Thursday evenings, or all day on Saturday. The MBA.PM Program Office supports the education and development of MBA.PM students by providing academic support to students throughout their time in the degree.

The role of the Student Services Advisor II is to help students understand degree requirements; create, clarify, and refine educational goals and plans; connect students with faculty and other Marshall resources, such as Career Services; address concerns and challenges both inside and outside of the classroom that impact academic success; and understand academic policies and procedures. The Student Services Advisor II will work closely with other University and Marshall departments to ensure students are effectively served. The Student Services Advisor II will cultivate relationships within Marshall and central University departments to support students’ degree progress and will provide a full range of services including onboarding newly admitted students, assisting in the coordination of registration for students, and providing graduation counseling and clearance.

Anticipated Hiring Range:

The hourly rate range for this position is $33.34 - $44.03. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
