Job description
Be Part of the Story at The Walt Disney Company as the Marketplace Operations Manager! As part of Disney’s Direct to Consumer Retail team, you’ll support the Disney Store North America Amazon.com marketplace. This role is responsible for operational elements related to the overall Amazon product assortment, assisting in the curation of an outstanding product selection for the site and supporting ongoing item maintenance to achieve sales targets and a positive customer experience.
This role reports to the General Manager, eCommerce North America.
This is a Full Time role.
Provide full operational support of the Disney Store Amazon business by handling tasks around assortment creation, product availability, sales and inventory reporting, distribution center logistics, Amazon Seller Central processes, and Marketing campaign analysis and guidance
Lead complex processes and analysis, providing guidance and oversight to drive Amazon business growth
Partner with Planning, Buying, Allocation, Marketing, Commercial & Finance teams to achieve, and report financial goals
Be a change agent with respect to the Amazon channel. Look to vendor or internal solutions to drive business profitability.
Identify product assortment improvement opportunities by participating in all major milestone meetings and sharing insights and feedback where appropriate to influence assortment decisions
Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative
Perform as an integral part of the Disney Store team, providing Amazon expertise to cross functional partners
Supervise and guide direct reports on application of operational processes and systems
Validated proficiency in Amazon Seller Central
2+ years of experience with an Ecommerce or Specialty retailer in a product support role
Detail oriented, organized, and ability to prioritize tasks optimally
Experience conducting analysis (sales & inventory analysis)
Strong communication skills, and ability to optimally work within a cross-functional team
High level of computer competency with a focus on Excel
Positive attitude, high motivation, curiosity, great teammate
Self-directed and proactive, constantly anticipating business needs and engaging key partners
Proven ability to identify, understand and drive resolution of critical issues

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, is $92,800.00 to $124,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
