Job description
Logistics Coordinator
To support Hamlet Proteins’ global and regional performance within logistics, we are looking for a strong Logistics Coordinator. As Logistics Coordinator, you will be a steady part of ensuring a well-coordinated process, reliable forecasting and effective use of Hamlet Protein´s manufacturing footprint.
This position has been newly created to support our existing Logistics team and reports to the Plant Manager in Findlay with a dotted line to our Global Customer Service Manager.
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide Customer Service excellence
- Ensure taking orders and execute customer deliveries within the agreed terms
- Ensure correct customer invoicing and shipping documents
- Booking of freight and creation of PO´s in ERP system
- Approve freight invoices
- Update and maintain relevant data in ERP and on TEAMS
- Provide demand data for production plan as needed
- Back-up for production planner
- Daily updates of production data in ERP
- Ensure continuous documentation and development on logistical matters
- Support the Global Procurement team in outbound freight matters as needed
- Ad hoc assistance for Global Customer Service Manager and Plant Manager
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Your qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience from a logistics or customer service function where you have been recognized by customers and colleagues for your excellent support skills
- Experience from working in an international team will be a plus
- You are an experienced MS Office user and have experience from working with ERP and ideally Navision
