Job description

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center (FQHC), in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Mission:

• To provide affordable, comprehensive, high quality healthcare to the entire community.

  Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday Friday; 8AM 5 PM (if you are looking for flexibility in your schedule the center is open to discuss this).
• Clinic Hours: Monday Friday; 8AM 5 PM
• Evenings/Weekends: there are some evening rotations.
• Call schedule: none
• Appointments: 60 minutes for new patient; 30 minutes for follow-up
• Patients: 8 12 / day on average
• Current Staff: 2 Psychiatric ARNPs, 3 Therapists
• Other clinical/support staff: 1 RN and 1 MA for the Psychiatric NPs

Qualifications:

• 1- 5 years of experience
• Current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Iowa
• The ideal candidate is passionate about public health and the health centers mission.

Benefits:

• Starting salary range: $120,000 - $130,000
• Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for up to $50,000 for two year commitment & option to renew through state and federal programs.
• Contract Length: 2 years, and 1 year successive terms
