Job description
The Ventura County SELPA is looking for a PT to fill in for one of our PTs who will be taking a leave of absence from February 2024-February 2025. Sarah told me I could reach out to The Genesis Group to possibly help us fill the vacancy. I've copied Nick our Director overseeing our PTs in the email as well if you need more information then what I provided below.
School Districts to Serve:
Pleasant Valley School District
Oxnard Elementary School District
Ventura Unified School District Early Start Program
Caseload:
VCOE ( 5 schools) 305 minutes/wk
PVSD ( 6 schools) 150 minutes/wk
Oxnard El (5 schools) 185 minutes/wk
Oxnard HS (1school) 30 minutes/mon
Early Start Program 4 hours/wk
Hours:
32-40 Weekly (We do have SELPA holidays where the contracted PT would take off below, will update next month with 2024 dates).They will get a break from Mid-July to Mid-August
2023-24 School Year Tuesday, July 4, 2023 Independence Day Monday, September 4, 2023 Labor Day Friday, November 10, 2023 Veterans Day Thursday, November 23 & Friday, November 24, 2023 Thanksgiving * Monday, December 25 & Tuesday, December 26, 2023 Winter Break * Monday, January 1, 2023 & Tuesday, January 2, 2024 New Year's Monday, January 15, 2024 Martin Luther King Jr. Day * Friday, February 16, 2024 Lincoln Day Monday, February 19, 2024 Washington Day * Friday, March 29, 2024 Spring Break Monday, May 27, 2024 Memorial Day Wednesday, June 19, 2024 Juneteenth * Instructional staff assigned to school sites may be required to observe these holidays on alternate dates in order to coordinate with the dates observed by the districts in which they are located.
Start Date:
February 1, 2024 (A Thursday if possible). The employee's last day is February 9th and we would like some crossover.
End Date:
Yet to be fully known, but most likely through the end of January, but possibly into February 2025.
