Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Specialist for the Field Maintenance Activity (FMA) , supporting the Army Division. FMA provide support to the Warfighter with excellent logistics and warehouse accountability, inventory, store, ship, and receive property and equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- High School Diploma
- 4 years of experience working in logistics operations across multiple logistics disciplines.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs logistics management support in a full range of property accountability functions IAW Army Regulations, policies and procedures.
- Must have experience with the Logistics Modernizations Program (LMP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).
- Use of these systems are in support of efforts and activities associated with integrated supply chain management, maintenance and repair planning.
- This support includes planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support Rapid Deployment Operations and other specified missions.
- Monitors organizational compliance with logistical regulations including creation of hand receipts, inventories, issues and other transactions using approved DOD, DA, AMC, AMCOM, and ALC Logistics Information Systems.
- Assist the Government in correcting findings identified during Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) inspections.
- Provide supply support utilizing various systems to ensure bench stock, packaging/dunnage and other required material is maintained and available at the time of need.
- Prepare, processes and submits shipping document IAW Policies, Procedures and SOPs.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge operating in DLA purchase contracts and systems with purchase experience related to commercial off the shelf (COTS) purchases and restrictions.
- Assist accountable property officers with actions such as asset receipts, reconciliations, and asset disposition.
- Assist with request for non-provisioned lines to bring the assets to record via DPAS.
- Actively involved with the Turn in, Transportation, and AFMD Warehouse operations; establishing internal processes and procedures to assure productivity is constantly improving.
- Assist in conducting process training for DPAS Property Accountability and DPAS Warehouse module for the contractor and Project managers.
- Provide and execute aged due out solutions for both DPAS and LMP transactions.
- Assist in validation process of the accuracy of LMP transactions as it pertains to release orders, STOs, disposals, and inventory sampling.
