Job Summary
The Senior Director, Marketing will help define and drive the new Marketing strategic direction forward while managing the day-to-day marketing efforts to reach customers, drive sales and build positive brand awareness. The role will lead NAPA’s advertising management and agency partners for radio, television, digital, and print initiatives, B2B, creative, and media. In this role, the Senior Director will lead a high-function marketing team across a wide variety of advertising platforms, both traditional and digital, to drive NAPA’s strategic objectives forward.
Responsibilities
- Lead NAPA’s traditional marketing channels, print, radio, TV, etc with a renewed focus to support NAPA’s strategic direction to our core customer, Independent workshops, Auto Care, and Fleets
- Lead NAPA’s digital marketing channels strategy and implementation, including email, SEO, social media, digital display, and online video as evolutionary channels.
- Align all marketing resources and investments to our new Vision to be the Trusted Provider of Automotive Products and Solutions
- Oversight of high-impact and highly engaged marketing professionals.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to manage marketing sponsorships in partnership with NAPA’s internal team.
- Manage monthly promotions, from strategy design, to communication, and execution.
- Collaborate with internal departments to increase sales and customer satisfaction through consistent and cohesive strategies.
- Leverage continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends; provide insight, recommendations, and go-to-market strategies based on insight.
- Measure ROI, KPI’s, and budgets for marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in multiple disciplines of marketing including traditional and digital advertising channels
- Proven results driving B2B marketing programs that directly impacted business revenue and loyalty
- Ability to build respectful and impactful relationships with internal and agency resources as well as create influence with customer base.
- Successful work experience in both traditional and digital advertising directing a large advertising budget.
- Strong understanding of marketing channels and experience in managing large numbers of agency partnerships.
- Excellent and expansive promotional expertise for large enterprises serving both independent store owners and consumers.
- Demonstrated analytic and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to clarify task details, and verify for accuracy and completion by following established processes and procedures.
- Results-driven with the ability to work in a dynamic marketing environment with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree in a related field.

Physical Demands / Working Environment
