Job description

HIRING FOR AEROSPACE ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER

PAYING $25-28.50/hr.

5400 INTERNATIONAL BLVD, NORTH CHARLESTON, SC

 Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.

• Execute wire routing, dressing, hook-ups, resistance/continuity checks, and basic rework (wire repair).

• Work on variable shifts with a minimum 1 year of relevant electrical manufacturing and/or aviation experience.

• Follow blueprint instructions & Boeing specifications for the 787 program.

• Build connectors, splice wires, crimp, terminate wires, and install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.

• Conduct repairs, rework processes, and incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions.

• Perform fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing, and installation.

• Execute bond & ground processes, including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation & resistance testing.

Skills Required:

• Aircraft assembly, repair, structural assembly, drill, shim, install, interpret blueprints and engineering prints, rework.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of direct Aerospace Systems Experience; preferably 3 years of solid Aerospace Systems Experience.

• Candidates without aerospace experience should have completed a relevant aerospace manufacturing program.

• Attend and pass training classes (4 weeks initially, 1st shift).

• Dress Code: Boeing Teamwear provided at Teamwear Store.

• Deviation approval available for candidates with Drug Screen Clear and Complete Paperwork.

• Contingencies must be complete and clear by the end of the training period (4 weeks).
