Salary Range: $24.00 - $31.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

The City of Greeley is seeking a seasonal Utility Locator in the Transmission/Distribution Division of the Water and Sewer Department. This position reports to the Project Coordinator and will assist with locating, maintaining, and locating of Water & Sewer facilities throughout the City of Greeley. Identifying the location for all utilities helps protect the City’s assets from damage during excavations, utility pot-holing, and directional boring projects. The utility locator is the contact person responsible for providing information to City employees, contractors, other utility companies, and homeowners regarding the City of Greeley policies, procedures, and underground construction standards.

Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data/figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading of printed materials; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices
