PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Driver Helper assists drivers who deliver goods to businesses and customers. As a driver helper, you will be responsible for all activities except the actual driving: loading and unloading items, contacting customers, collecting payments, keeping in touch with dispatcher or manager, doing delivery paperwork etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Loading and unloading company products
- Assisting drivers to find delivery locations
- Compiling accurate delivery records and reports
- Reporting all delivery-related issues to the supervisor
- Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints
- Assisting with the unloading products from the truck on each delivery location
- Obtaining clients and customers' signatures as an acknowledgement of having received the delivered products
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Any other duties assigned by the management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven customer service experience is preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work flexible hours
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Loading/unloading experience is preferred
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: - High school or GED equivalent.

- Office and warehouse environment
- Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time
