Job description
Position Title: Care Coordination Data Analyst
Contract Length: EOY 2024
Start date: ASAP
Location: Los Angeles Greater Area (Pasadena preferred, on-site meetings no more than once per month)
Overview: This role will support our client's Medi-Cal expansion and compliance with DHCS requirements in the SoCal region.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing Care Coordination and Case Management data from members in the Southern California region to streamline provider care and compliance
Extracting data from multiple areas to consolidate
Data analysis using Tableau or similar tools (e.g., web-based data-visualization tools, technology to support data sharing and analysis, automated dashboards)
Required Experience:
Prior work with Case Management or Care Coordination Data
6+ years experience working on a Medi-Cal Health Plan
Experience with SQL, working with queries
Data set up and Data Virtualization
Power BI, Tableau, Excel
Bachelor's Degree or higher education
Required Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
Eager to learn with a go-getter attitude
Ability to bridge non-technical people with clinical folks; communicating on multiple levels
Inquisitive and curious – ability to go looking for data in several places if necessary
