Job description
Role: AI Machine Learning Expert
Location: onsite (Auburn hills, MI)
Employment Type: W2
Key Responsibilities:
Model Development:
- Leveraging Google BERT, T5, Vertex AI etc for building transformer-based QA models.
- Training and fine-tuning models on Google Cloud TPUs for faster experimentation.
- Using Tensorflow and PyTorch on Google Cloud to build deep learning QA models.
- Evaluating model performance using Google Cloud Vertex AI and other MLOps tools.
- Serving models via Google Cloud Endpoints and integrating with Android/iOS apps.
- Monitoring and optimizing deployed models using Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Staying up-to-date on Google AI research and new product announcements in QA/NLP space.
- Identifying opportunities to utilize Google AI services like Language API, Dialogflow etc.
Data Preparation:
- Curate and preprocess datasets to train and evaluate Q&A models.
- Collaborate with data engineers and devops personnel to ensure data quality and availability.
Evaluation and Testing:
- Develop evaluation metrics and conduct rigorous testing to assess model performance.
- Continuously iterate on models to improve accuracy and user experience.
- Continuously testing and evaluating model performance through metrics like accuracy, F1 score etc.
Research and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and AI/ML.
- Explore and experiment with novel techniques to enhance Q&A capabilities.
Collaboration :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate Q&A models into our products.
- Communicate effectively and present findings and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills :
- Experience with collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project.
