Job description
Since 1940, Precision Threaded Products has been a leading manufacturer of ring and key lock studs and inserts. At our headquarters in Bristol CT, we manufacture a variety of aerospace fasteners for gearboxes, turbines, landing gear and more. Due to company growth, we are looking to bring on an experienced Machinist to join our team.

The Position:
The Machinist will:
- Operate and maintain Manual & CNC Milling & Turning
- Setup and operate semi-automatic assembly equipment (key insertion)
- Work from drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production
- Perform Secondary operations such as deburring, drilling, grinding & polishing
- Take precise measurements using metrology equipment such as micrometer, vernier, drop indicators and shadow graph
- Perform routine maintenance and repair minor issues
About You:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines
- You have excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- You can use precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometer, verniers) to take accurate measurements and are able to read blueprints
