Job Description

Position Summary: This is an immersive 12-month training position that utilizes an interprofessional approach to prepare the Fellow to step into the fast-paced role of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with Summit Health. The program includes weekly didactics, autonomous and precepted practice, specialty rotations and other educational components. Curriculum will have an emphasis on evidence-based medicine to help the Fellow develop critical reasoning skills. The program also includes a heavy emphasis on leadership and clinical practice under risk-based payment arrangements. The Fellow will work under the direct guidance of preceptors, mentors, and program director. A successful applicant for this role will be responsible for providing services collaboratively and autonomously, including initial and ongoing assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, etc.
