Material Handler - Expectations
Position Summary
Performs material handling tasks in the warehouse / production environments, including but not limited to maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Prepares stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product maintaining an environment that sets a high expectation on safety and quality.
Major Responsibilities
Pick inventory items to support internal / external customer orders Pack customer orders for domestic and international air, ground, and ocean shipment Procurement and delivery of parts within the Manufacturing area Ensure proper and accurate accounting of all receipts and inventories and reconcile as necessary
Ensure all available orders are shipped / delivered based on daily basis scheduled.
Identify, register and inform to immediate leader any kind of non-conformity in the material received or in handling process.
Committed to performing job duties with safety & quality in mind, as well as execute housekeeping in your daily activities to have a consistently manufacturing well-being environment
Understanding of delivery and shipping documents, i.e. pick list, packing list, bill of lading and making sure matches material
Investigate, address and resolve delays in 2 Bin part delivery to operator work stations
Partner with Warehouse Team to resolve replenishment issues
Order low use parts or special parts per broadcast report. Ensure accurate delivery of parts from STK and proper delivery to work station with Dispenser Identification as required
Ensure proper and accurate accounting of all material and inventories
Assist in daily Tugger operations as required
Assists in performing cycle counts as required, complete Inventory Verification forms as required
Qualifications / Requirements Ability to read and understand working instructions Ability to communicate effectively and follow both verbal and written instructions High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail
Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum of 10 hours per day, and lift up to 40lbs unassisted as required
Basic PC skills and ability to navigate programs used by the Company for training and/or communication purposes
Familiarity with Engineering Drawings is preferable
Familiarity with Wiring Assembly Processes is preferable
Prior experience in Warehouse job activities is preferable
Working schedule:
Night Shift -Sun-Wed 9PM-7:30AM . Willingness to work weekends if necessary.
