The Opportunity: 

Mattel is searching for a technology leader with an immense passion for delivering business value in the form of process simplification and modernization enabled by technology data and program management .

The Director of Global Logistics is a key technology partner to Mattel’s Supply chain Logistics Leadership – SVPs/VPs/Sr. Directors of Logistics (inbound, Outbound, Distribution centers, D2C and B2B), and the global supply chain organization. This role will lead innovation, project management, systems development and implementation, and support of all technology that enables these areas. The business functions supported by this key leader includes warehouse management, inbound and outbound and transportation.

This leader will have excellent domain experience in these areas as well as a proven success record of delivering business value and organizational transformation in a matrixed IT environment with reliance on offshore delivery partners. They will bring a wealth of experience in developing and delivering modern technology solutions, excellent vendor management skill, and have a proven track record of modernizing and transforming technology capabilities aligned to business process transformation.

This position will report directly to Mattel’s Global Supply Chain Technology VP or Senior Director and will be a key member of the Global Technology Organization’s leadership team. This leader is a key contributor to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy, while maintaining its alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.

Remote candidates are required to travel 25% - 50% (once or twice a month to corporate and other facilities as required). Relocation to Corporate in El Segundo, CA is preferred. For local candidates, onsite presence is needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The annual base salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $212,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
