We are seeking a Level 1 IT Analyst for a contract position with one of our prestigious clients in the financial and wealth management sector. The client is a financial planning-focused wealth advisory firm with approximately $20 Billion in Assets Under Management and 350 employees.
Job Description
The Level 1 IT Analyst will be the frontline support for all internal users, providing assistance with helpdesk tickets related to hardware and software issues. This role requires a keen understanding of hardware troubleshooting, including monitors, keyboards, and docking stations, as well as comprehensive support for Microsoft applications such as Windows 10, Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, and display settings. Additionally, the candidate will provide support for the Zoom client, ensuring seamless communication across the company.
Responsibilities include responding to Level 1 helpdesk tickets with efficiency and professionalism, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining detailed records of user requests and solutions provided. The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Responsibilities and Duties
Respond to and resolve Level 1 helpdesk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform hardware troubleshooting for PCs, monitors, keyboards, and docking stations.
Provide support and maintenance for Microsoft applications including Windows 10, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Teams, and Outlook.
Assist users with display settings adjustments and configurations for optimal performance.
Offer support for Zoom and other communication tools, helping users with installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
Document all helpdesk interactions and solutions provided in the IT support ticketing system.
Communicate effectively with users to understand their issues and provide clear instructions for resolutions.
Collaborate with higher-level IT staff on more complex issues, escalating tickets as necessary.
Maintain an inventory of all hardware devices and software licenses, ensuring all items are up to date.
Participate in IT projects as assigned, contributing to the enhancement of the company's IT infrastructure.
Stay informed of the latest trends and updates in technology relevant to the company's operations.
Conduct basic network troubleshooting and support.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures, including security protocols.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
Proven experience in IT support, particularly with hardware troubleshooting and Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, and adjusting display settings.
Experience in supporting communication tools like Zoom.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to document and track support activities and resolutions.
A team player with a strong customer service orientation.
Education / Professional Experience
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
