EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR IN NORRISTOWN, PA

Kelly® is in search of a Quality Control Inspector to work at a premier toy manufacturer in Norristown, PA. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Overtime when needed).

Pay Rate : $20.00 per hr.

Weekly pay

This is a Temp-Hire position.

Your typical day as a Quality Control Inspector:

• Providing timely and accurate inspection of assigned materials.

• Performing required testing of putty and finished products from the assembly line.

• Recording test results on Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

• Documenting all non-conforming test results and notifying QC supervisor and/or QC manager.

• Approving reported testing results.

• Placing finished products on hold if off spec.

• Entering sample data into QC database.

• Communicating the status or disposition of in-process or finished goods to manufacturing personnel.

• Operating and understanding all quality testing equipment.

• Collaborating with supervisors to correct/sort off-spec putty during the finishing process.

• Recording work performed and results in a clear and understandable manner.

• Reporting and documenting all incidents and using CAPA and Root Cause Analysis for prevention.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma (BS preferred).

• Have strong attention to detail.

• Can differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable material.

• Are computer competent, including email, MS Office, and internal databases.

• Have good organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Can make decisions based on results.

• Has Quality Control Inspection experience (required).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work a full day on your feet in a very active environment.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height.

• Must be able to perform various physical activities such as climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, and seeing.

• Work environment may include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, and fumes or odors.
