Job description
We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team!
This position will travel between Cumming and Dawsonville.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, 401k, PTO, life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and holiday pay. Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
Duties may include but not limited to: - Full triage
- Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
- EKG's
- Recording and updating patient information
- Chart prep
- Phlebotomy
- Medication refills
- Some travel may sporadically be required between offices (Cumming/Dawsonville) to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
Requirements: - Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, must gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)
