The Role
Headlands Research is looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our team as we run cutting edge clinical research trials. The ideal candidate is p assionate about clinical trials and making a difference and a team player who can collaborate and move at a fast pace.
Type: Full-time, fully-benefitted
Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial
- Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
- Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
- Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility
- Maintains proper documentation
- Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
- Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports
- Must have a passion and patience for working with patients suffering from neurodegenerative diseases
- Previous experience working with patients with neurodenerative diseases required
- Graduate of an accredited masters program
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of MA required
- Two+ years of professional experience working as a nurse practitioner required
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
