Primary Function
This position is primarily responsible for the operation and overview of the PLM workflow and serves as an SAP Master User within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the SAP Master User for PLM.
- Provide first line support for all local PLM issues and inquiries.
- Work cross functionality to help resolve broader SAP business issues.
- Enter help desk tickets for unresolved issues.
- Liaison with Symphony Production Support and Implementation teams to resolve open tickets.
- Train new employees on PLM functionality.
- Test new functionality to determine completeness.
- Administer the Engineering product change process. Review requests for completeness.
- Determine impacted product lines, plants and responsible parties.
- Review workflow processes prompt and/or escalate stalled tasks.
- Reassign (substitute) tasks as required.
- Add/update process steps to correct issues.
- Create/maintain Product Data including Materials, BOMs and other Engineering data (Characteristics) such as dimensions on elements, wattage, and manufacturing tolerances, thermostat manufacturing “recipes”, other Engineering/Manufacturing data and Service Parts data.
- Also responsible for setting initial Effectivity dates for product changes.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Prepare reports on workflow status and completions.
- Design and execute Sequel reports on requests from Engineering.
- Design and maintain Microsoft Access Databases for:
- Nonconformance Hold Tag and Dispositions
- Set priorities for drafting to meet production and business needs.
- Initiate and approve Product Change Processes for Global Logistics parts and for product changes not requiring Engineering input.
- Perform and maintain UPC and barcode system assignments.
- Create and maintain labels for customer products and service parts in the company label system.
- Update the website parts lookup tables in the ERP system.
- Create end of month reports and charts, including Pareto charts, for Engineering.
- Perform other activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED required, Associate's preferred
- Previous experience within SAP, Engineering Data and Document Management including Materials, BOMs, and Product Change (ECR, ECO, ECN)., preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, written and orally, to effectively exchange detailed information with all stakeholders
- Ability to manage many conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly experienced within MS Access and Excel
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training

Pay range for this role is $44,970 - $67,470 annually.
