Job description

Moccasin Creek Golf Shop in Aberdeen, SD is looking for Golf Shop Assistants to join our strong team for the golf season. Our ideal candidate is attentive with great customer service skills, an outgoing attitude, hard-working, and has a love of golf. The golf season typically runs from April through October. Successful team members typically come back for many seasons enjoying the benefits of working at a first-class club. The work schedule is flexible with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with members and guests providing exceptional experiences.
• Assist the Golf Professionals in the management of day-to-day operations.
• Act as golf course starter controlling the tee sheet. Assist members to find starting times and games.
• Be the first contact members and guests have with the Club; including handling phone calls in a prompt, polite, and courteous manner.
• Help organize, conduct, and promote all golf tournaments while using the latest technologies available to provide an outstanding experience for the participants.
• Help members and guests with merchandise purchases and special orders.
• Assist with merchandising and presentation of the Golf Shop.
• Assist with outside services where needed and help to oversee the Professional Services operation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Golf knowledge a plus.
• Part-time and full-time positions available.
