Job description
- Job Title: Full-stack Software Engineer
- Description: Building, validating, and releasing software products early and often in collaboration with a team of engineers, designers, and product owners.
- Skills Required:
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers
- Proven experience delivering working, tested software in a small agile team
- Ability to work effectively with product owners, product designers, and other technical experts
- Willingness to continuously learn and share with peers
- Demonstrated technical knowledge\/leadership skills
- Experience developing user experiences with backend APIs using frameworks like Spring Boot
- Experience Required:
- Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science or related field
- Proficiency with test-driven development (TDD) and clean code concepts
- Pair programming experience
- In-depth software engineering knowledge
- Expertise in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including paired programming and TDD
- Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience delivering products that include front-end web development
- Proficiency with continuous integration\/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Terraform, Tekton, JFrog etc.)
- Proficiency with RESTful API standards\/tools
- Education Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years of professional development experience with Spring and Java or similar Object-Oriented languages
- Experience with continuous integration\/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Terraform, Tekton, JFrog etc.)
- Iterative development experience
