Job description
SPIRAL International is seeking a full-time Program Operations Coordinator. The coordinator will work with SPIRAL staff members to design, plan and organize SPIRAL programs. He/she will be responsible for introducing programs through our website and social media platforms, communicate with customers about program planning and operation, work with program operation logistics. Working with the SPIRAL team, the coordinator will reach out to local schools for building short and long-term programs, conduct trainings for school coordinators, provide support for the schools activities during the year, organize events to develop and maintain host family networks in different regions, provide hands-on support for school coordinators for implementation of the summer program, and conduct site visits during the summer camp.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work in the Burlington office M-F or hybrid (Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the office, and Tuesday and Thursday from home) during regular business hours.
- Work as a member of team to participate in strategic and action planning for all SPIRALs programs.
- Use/update website and other social media platforms to introduce SPIRAL and its programs.
- Work with SPIRAL staff members to reach out to schools in different regions introducing SPIRAL and its work.
- Providing timely individual program consultation and advice to school coordinators (both new and returning) before and during short and/or long-term programs.
- Providing hands-on support to the regional and site coordinators who may have encountered challenges in carrying out the agreed-upon programs.
- Conducting at least one visit to each site during short-term programs.
- Works as group leader to lead student international trips, as needed.

- Excellent communication, presentation and management skills
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of website updates, social media platforms, and basic software applications
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
- Knowledge of school student service systems and community resources
- Afterschool and summer camp coordination experience.
- Knowledge of Chinese language and culture is a plus.
