[Job Description]- Organize and oversee daily accounting tasks including Account Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assists with month-end/year end close to ensure timely financial reporting
- Reconciles general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly and prepares journal entries related to cash, accounts payable, depreciation, accruals, prepaid expenses, etc.
- Maintain adequate support of monthly work papers supporting the general ledger
- Checks daily bank activity and records transactions in QuickBooks and cash reports
- Prepares weekly cash flow report for FP&A Director
- Review vendor and client invoices for accuracy
- Performs daily bank and cash reconciliations
- Assist with check runs for FP&A Director on a weekly basis
- Assist with audit requests during year-end audit
- Maintains great filling and record keeping
- Manages all Certificates of Insurance
- Prepares and processes Credit Card and Expense Reports
- Data management of accounting
- Oversees and Performs Collections
- Assist with DMV account and Vehicle titles
- Utilizes, understands, and navigates through proprietary system
- Assists with all accounting functions
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as requires and/or assigned
[Qualifications]- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Experience with corporate governance
- Must be highly skilled in use of QuickBooks, MS Excel and MS Word
