About the Position

Hiya is seeking a Financial Analyst Contractor to join our Finance team reporting to the Director of Finance. Collaborating closely with key business stakeholders, your efforts will be instrumental in driving the growth of Hiya. What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain financial models to be used for monthly forecast and annual budget cycles.
• Sustain and enhance SaaS financial models and metrics with precision and accuracy. 
• Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, use insights to drive meaningful action and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Work on building/expanding financial and operational reporting capabilities that provide Hiya executive leadership key insights about the business and help drive the right business decisions
• Support sales, marketing, engineering, business development and people ops with ad hoc projects.
• Partner with the Accounting and Business Operations teams. 
• Help lead and execute projects focused on helping scale our FP&A processes as Hiya grows.

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

• Expert Excel modeling & analytical skills.
• Ability to dive-deep and take complete ownership of complex projects and handle competing priorities while doing so.
• Ability to parse complex financial analysis into meaningful communications for business leaders.
• Process-oriented mindset with experience driving automation/efficiencies.
• Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
• A team player who’s willing to get their hands dirty and help where needed.

You will have a fast start if you have the following experience and skills:

• Spreadsheet virtuoso. 
• Extensive experience in Finance planning and Analysis and/or experience in Public Accounting.
• Strong background in the technology industry, specifically SaaS, or other quantitative heavy fields. 
• Experience with FP&A systems and tools e.g. Netsuite, Salesforce, etc. not required, but nice to have.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of equivalent years of experience.
