Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct visual inspections on all product lines to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Utilize industry-appropriate methods to inspect output, including comparing standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality.
Review blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform visual inspections of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to detect any defects or irregularities.
Report discrepancies on failed units promptly and accurately, documenting findings for further analysis.
Record inspection results by completing detailed reports, summarizing reworks and wastes, and inputting data into the quality database.
Maintain the accuracy of measurement equipment by following calibration requirements and performing regular checks.
Facilitate verbal and written communication with other departments to address quality-related issues and collaborate on solutions.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
Travel:
Limited travel may be required as needed for training or project-related purposes.
Minimum Education/Experience:
2-5 years of relevant experience in quality control or a related field.
Completion of a two-year technical degree program or equivalent education.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
Ability to effectively use Digital Multimeters, Current Clamps, and various hand tools for inspection purposes.
Knowledge of MS Office applications and ISO 9001 standards preferred.
