Overview:
The Merchandising Web Administrator manages the product curation and posting for the direct-to-consumer website(s). This position bridges the worlds of company graphic standards, licensing requirements, Pulse Art Engine capabilities, decoration option by brand and location, website organization option and limitations, and partnership relationships. Works alongside the Merchandising Web Lead and the Graphic Systems Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manages aspects of the Dynamic Art Generation (DAG) tool, StyleMaster, Sales Catalog, the High School Institution database, the Colligate Institution database, and Scene7 product image library.
- Interacts as part of the IT team supporting the DAG application
- Determines project, institution and category tags to drive proper assignment to web catalogs
- Evaluates resulting DAG art files for esthetics and institution restrictions
- Ability to organize and work with a large volume of data
- Assists in verifying institution data via Gear For Sports order history and web research
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred in the content area of apparel, business, graphic design or marketing, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years apparel industry experience related to business planning and/or product development or ecommerce merchandising/assortment planning and/or licensed product auditing/database maintenance
- Intermediate computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Illustrator graphics software.
