The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and assists in the property's maintenance needs, physical appearance, and work orders. The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibilities include hands-on property maintenance, general upkeep and repair to units and the grounds, responding promptly to work order requests, make-readies, and maintaining excellent resident relations through outstanding C.A.R.E. service. On-call and some weekend availability are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in daily tasks
• Maintain positive resident relations through our CARE service
• Participate in the daily operations of the property
• Respond to work orders
• Ground and exterior upkeep as needed
• Oversee turn and make ready process
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections
• Inspecting units for move-in readiness
• Ensure company policy, state and federal safety guidelines and laws, and Fair Housing laws are adhered to
• Hands-on maintenance
• Must be able to provide own transportation, and provide proof of insurance

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of 1-year maintenance experience preferred
• Maintenance experience in multifamily communities and single-family homes preferred
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC preferred
• HVAC Certification preferred
• Good organizational and people skills
• Must have a basic understanding of computer/mobile devices to utilize our work systems
• Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment and tools
• Must have a valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
