Job description

Full Time: Mon-Fri

 

The Young Adult Access Center (YAAC) Program Director has a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in program management and extensive knowledge of the unique needs of young adults facing mental health and other challenges. The Program Director will provide leadership and oversee all the day-to-day operations of the YAAC including administrative supervision and oversight, facility and quality management, and budget monitoring. The Program Director will build and nurtures collaborative/strategic community relationships to enhance support for YAs.

1. Provide administrative supervision and oversight of all YAAC staff (Clinician, YAPM’s,
Transition Coordinator, interns/volunteers)
2. Serve as single point of entry for all referrals to BAMSI’s Young Adult Access Center
3. In coordination with BAMSI’s Learning and Development Department, ensures all staff are
appropriately oriented and trained to successfully perform the requirements of their jobs.
4. In coordination with BAMSI’s Facilities and IT Departments, ensures that all staff have the
necessary infrastructure and equipment to successfully conduct their work.
5. Facilitate weekly staff meetings and on-going trainings to build successful, trusting,
competent teaming among staff
6. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including community
providers, community organizations, and DMH
7. Administer satisfaction surveys to ensure high fidelity services to persons served and their
family members as scheduled and or appropriate.
8. In coordination with BAMSI’s Human Resources Department, recruits, interview, hire, and
retains a culturally, linguistically and age diverse staff in adherence to EOHHS CORI
regulations.
9. In coordination with BAMSI’s Finance Department, oversee program budget,
tracking/reporting of billable service hours, and working collaboratively with BAMSI
business office.
10. Review service gaps and network trends and recommend needed services.
11. Request and attend emergency team meetings as needed.
12. Complete annual performance evaluation of all YAAC staff.
13. Work cooperatively with other programs within the division to ensure a comprehensive and
consistent treatment approach.
14. Seek direction, support and guidance from Supervisor as needed, and
communicate areas of concern in a timely fashion.
15. Perform duties consistent with BAMSI/Referral Source policies and procedures.
16. Execute duties to reflect reasonable safety standards.
17. Universal/standard precautions must be utilized and training obtained in areas that constitute
risk.
18. Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or designee.
