Job description
Here at Optum, part of the largest network of medical groups in the nation, we are seeking a dedicated and patient-centric Physician to join our growing Adult Primary Care team in the Southern New Jersey market with Optum Tri-State (i.e., previously a Riverside Medical Group practice).

(sm) Position Highlights Primary Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team.
• Treat chronic diseases and disorders.
• Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status.
• Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history.
• Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.
• Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient.
• Oversees and provides collaborative support to Advanced Practice Clinicians.

Required Qualifications:
• Unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey or has New Jersey medical license application in process.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Active New Jersey CDS license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Bilingual Spanish language skills highly preferred (but not required).
• You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role.
New Jersey Residents Only : The salary/hourly range for New Jersey residents is $249,728 to $355,092 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
