Responsibilities: What you can expect as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Cart Mart: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and will work closely with our OEM partners and internal departments to ensure an accurate accounting of vehicles, parts and labor costs. Duties for this position include: • Audit OEM billing for any discrepancies in PO vs billed pricing • Work with the procurement team to resolve any billing discrepancies • Record OEM billing for vehicles/parts within the ERP (LightSpeed EVO) • Assist manager with monthly OEM calls to review any needed billing corrections • Work with sales team to provide vehicle specifications to help close sales leads • Work with the F+I department to review OEM incentive/rebate programs on a weekly basis to ensure correct accounting in ERP • Work with the F+I department to review monthly vehicle sales and margins to identify and resolve any irregularities due to pricing errors • Assist with ad hoc analysis of vehicle pricing trends across various OEMs • Manage various balance sheet schedules related to OEM payables & receivables • Participate in monthly/quarterly financial reviews with the manager and CFO • Assist with monthly OEM flooring lender audits • Assist with annual corporate audits as it relates to vehicle inventory values and payables testing • Assist with additional projects and analysis as needed Qualifications: What we’re looking for: • Our perfect candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience with the ability and interest to progress into a senior accounting position as the company continues to expand into new markets • This candidate must be enterprising, possess a strong work ethic, and have extreme attention to detail • You are analytical, known for accuracy, and enjoy problem-solving • You are able to communicate effectively while having consistent follow-up and follow-through Compensation: • This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in San Marcos, CA • We are targeting a base compensation range of $23 - $26 an hour depending on experience Do you have what it takes to be part of the team?About Company: Additional benefits include: Training and technical assistanceCompany-sponsored 401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, vision, and Aflac insuranceLife insuranceEmployee assistance programPaid Sick Vacation TimeHoliday PayTuition Reimbursement ProgramFriends and Family discount programEmployee Referral Program Cart Mart Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer as well as an at-will employer.
