(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychologist/Psychometrist - Psychologist | PhD or PsyD Out-Patient Clinic SettingWichita, Kansas

We are seeking a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) for an out-patient clinical setting working in behavioral health. The Psychologist will enjoy working with adolescent and adult patients in mental health and counseling and there are full-time and part-time opportunities available. The Psychologist would work a standard 8a-5p Mon-Fri position with the option of working a 4 day schedule. The employer offers a very competitive salary or hourly rate (full or part-time) with comprehensive benefits including Medical, Retirement, PTO and additional benefits. A signing bonus and relocation allowance is also negotiable depending upon the needs of the candidate. This position is also eligible for loan repayment through the National Health Service Corp program which would provide up to $25,000 per year paid directly to the employees student loans ($50,000 in exchange for a 2 year commitment). This would require a separate application with HRSA | NHSC and there are no guarantees on receiving the loan reimbursement. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Psychologist to work with the underserved patient population and see a diverse and interesting cross sections of patients.
Ph.D or Psy.D in clinical or counseling psychology required, licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Board (BSRB) in the State of Kansas.
Experience:
History of working with adolescents and adults in a mental health counseling capacity.
Must demonstrate skill and competence working with individuals, families and groups, utilizing a combination of modalities and treatment approaches such as cognitive, supportive, behavioral and psychodynamic.
Must have good listening skills, verbal skills and written communication skills.
Must have good diagnostic skills and be able to do outpatient evaluations and psychological testing.
Must have a good understanding of the aging process, both physical and mental.
Must have a good understanding of grief process and skills regarding grief counseling.
Must be able to work effectively with other aging agencies, such as nursing homes and external care providers.
Must maintain Kansas State licensure and appropriate CEs.
Must be credentialed to do evaluations, individual psychotherapy therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychological assessments and collateral consultations with adults and older adults.
Must be proficient at basic keyboarding|word-processing skills.
Must be able to pass KBI, Central Registry and DCF screen.
Duties:
Provide competent evaluations, individual psychotherapy, psychological testing, family therapy and case consultations for adolescents, adults and older adults.
Communicate regularly with referral sources at admission, as needed during therapy and at termination.
Maintain clinical outcomes
Work cooperatively with other professional staff within the office, in service of the clientele.
Provide clinical supervision as needed.
Work cooperatively with Utilization Review staff and Treatment Team to assure authorization is in place to provide services, and specific services are identified on the active treatment plan.
