We are searching for a Product Line Specialist to join our growing Marketing Team! Now is the time to move forward and make an impact!
As a Product Line Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to Marketing, Sales and Operations to assist in driving growth and profitability of assigned product line areas by proactively analyzing, organizing and communicating actionable data. You will work with the Master Data Team to manage day-to-day product data maintenance and identify process enhancements that will improve responsiveness to customers without sacrificing compliance and other requirements, while also leveraging a deep understanding of SAP to quickly access, analyze and manage information. You will also assist in inventory strategy management to support market growth plans and inventory management goals and will work with Market Managers, Sales, Suppliers and Marketing Communications to gather, organize and maintain product content visible and accessible within B2B and in the C4 Sales Tool.
How will you impact our organization as a Product Line Specialist on a daily basis?- Proactively analyze product data to locate and communicate gaps in product sales to customer accounts and create tools to create visibility into opportunities to sell more products to existing customers.
- Analyze product lines to identify complementary products to drive add-on sales and up-selling opportunities
- Maintain product information and data that will be used in Composites One’s B2B and C4 Sales platform
- Create value for customers through identification and implementation of product data related process enhancements focused on improving response times to customers
- Perform analysis and data audits to identify maintenance projects for the Master Data Team
- Actively evaluate new item requests to determine appropriate fit, and offer commercial teams alternative product options within the current product portfolio, if available.
- Enforce master data requirements with suppliers and hold other departments accountable to avoid the proliferation of duplicate products or stagnant data within the Product Hierarchy and Class/Characteristics.
- Build an in-depth knowledge of product lines and the factors driving supply and demand.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Must be highly proficient in MS Excel, in addition to other MS Office software.
- Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to material crating and maintenance.
- Must have a baseline understanding of composites materials.
- Experience in a business to business account support and distribution role strongly preferred.
- Prior SAP experience/SAP Implementation is a plus.
