Description: Allied Contractors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in an efficient and accurate manner. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals for payments.Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Qualifications: Previous experience in accounts payable or a related role.Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Education and
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).1+ years of relevant accounts payable experience. Experience in Quickbooks is a must. Experience in Foundations for Construction is a plus.
