Purpose

Perform accurate movement of all products for both inbound and outbound freight. Ensure that the product is free from damage and assure that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications or other requirements.

Reviewing / Auditing picked orders item, quantity and condition, audit compliance to customer specific instructions, verify shipping integrity of the product for transit. Record / report any errors found. Collect the necessary shipping documents form the office, review / check for accuracy and in compliance to customer guidelines. Prepare orders for shipment label, wrap and pack as required. Collect the necessary shipping documentation and prepare for outbound.

Support other warehouse related activities as required.

• 5-7 years general warehouse experience time in a warehouse, previous checker position a plus.

Organization Relationships

• This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.

Work Environment

• This position requires physical demands to include, but not limited to standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
• Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.
• Will work alongside drivers who are moving pallets on different types of forklifts.
