Job description
Camp Laurel, an outstanding private children's residential camp in Maine, seeks a Nurse Manager, Charge Nurses and Staff Nurses. Often claimed as one of the nation's premier camps, we are seeking candidates with great energy, nursing skills, communication skills and warmth who will work as part of our well-staffed medical team. Nurses are responsible for: (a) caring for ill or injured patients who are admitted to the Health Center; (b) handling health calls throughout the day; (c) sorting and dispensing medication to campers; (d) responding to any emergency which may arise at camp; (e) maintaining health logs for each camper and staff member; and, (f) encouraging and promoting health maintenance and accident prevention.
