The Opportunity :
This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.
You will be responsible for the following: - Provide direct training and development for Dental Assistants
- Assist in the management of the clinical schedule and back-office flow
- Provide a high level of chair-side assistance demonstrating a DA Level IV mastery of dental skills
- Ensure the practice has adequate supplies to meet patient demands both in the clinical setting and with lab inventory
- Provide behavior management using guidelines approved by American Academy of pediatric dentistry
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
- Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, employee handbook).
You will be required to possess the following :
- At least 1 year of previous experience as a dental assistant on pediatric patients
- Identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, listening to patients’ needs, and possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth
- Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry
- DANB Certification
