Job description
This position is a temporary internship role from roughly May 2024-September 2024
Position Objective:
The primary purpose of the position is to expose the intern to sales activities including account maintenance, SKU set up online and in store, sales analytics trade show planning and promotion support.
Accountabilities:
- Support the account managers with retailer specific data mining
- Performs account maintenance activities such as SKU maintenance/set up in a timely fashion
- Performs a variety of other tasks by acting as sales contact point for Product Management and Marketing Communications.
- Trade show planning and coordination
- Assist with Wagner store product maintenance
- Perform weekly/monthly retail price checks (online and stores
- IMAP monitoring/enforcement
- General customer administration – Account profiles
- Additional duties may include participating in project teams
Relationship To Others:
Internal contact with sales managers, marketing team and product managers. Externally works with a variety of customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*Education
Pursing Bachelor’s Degree in Business and communications related field is desired.
*Skills
- Must have a minimum of Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Oral & Written Communications: The ability to write clearly and informatively while varying writing styles as needed.
- Planning/Organizing: This position is very analytical involving collecting, researching data and analyzing the information skillfully. The individual also needs to be very adaptable to frequent changes in priorities, deadlines, unexpected events and competing demands, using their time efficiently under pressure while still keeping their commitments. Completes work in a timely manner.
- Customer Service/Teamwork: Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; committing to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals and supports everyone’s efforts to succeed.
- Project management: Must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects at one time.
- Ability to work independently, as portions if not all of the intern experience will be virtual
