Job Title: Underwriter
Job Location: Remote Available (In office training completed at one of the following offices: Atlanta, Georgia; Boston, Massachusetts; Chicago, Illinois; Farmington, Connecticut; Houston, Texas; Los Angeles, California; Miami, Florida; San Francisco, California)
Salary:

We are seeking an Underwriting - Misc. Medical to join our Healthcare team to provide guidance and solutions on Underwriting related issues for large facilities.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Underwriter in Specialty Risk our team, you will:
- Develop and underwrite a profitable portfolio of Miscellaneous Medical business
- Monitor and supervise underwriting assistants in their daily work
- Evaluate and monitor accounts premiums, risk costs, claims, etc.
- Structure and build solutions to win new business and retain existing business

What You Need for this Position

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in specialty risk underwriting
- experience in large facility underwriting, medical or healthcare industry (Hospitals, Clinical Research Facilities, Primary Healthcare Providers, etc.)
- Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
