This notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the job opportunity below. A person may provide documentary evidence bearing on the application to the Certifying Officer of the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Foreign Labor Certification, 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Room N-5311, Washington, DC 20210.


Stanley Black & Decker seeks Manager Security Architecture (HQ in New Britain, CT or remote w/in USA) to ensure security is designed and integrated into SBD solutions leveraging on-prem, cloud, and hybrid deployment models; Provide domain expertise (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in AWS, Azure, and GCP; Provide expert guidance on application security to development teams by leveraging industry- acceptable secure software development standards, i.e., OWASP SAMM; Perform threat modeling and architecture risk assessments for SBD products and solutions; Influence developers to write secure code and implement secure engineering practices; Validate and attest security controls effectiveness in SBD products and solutions; Collaborate and partner with product and engineering partners like managers, architects, and developers in the roadmap planning, prioritization, and implementation; and Lead all aspects of secure architecture design. Bachelor's degree (or equiv) in Information Systems Security or related field and 8 years of related experience; 5 years of experience in Security Architecture. Demonstrated Ability with: At least one programming language (Java, Node.JS, Python, or C/C++, .Net, Golang); PowerShell, AWS CloudFormation and/or terraform; domain controllers (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS); conducting static code reviews and applying security auditing and/or dynamic scanning tools; OWASP Web/API vulnerabilities (CSRF, XSS, SQLI, etc.) and compensating controls; Knowledge of industry-acceptable secure software development standards; AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Compute (GCP); Risk Controls frameworks i.e., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, etc; Applied cryptography (Encryption, Authentication, Symmetric Cryptography, Asymmetric Cryptography etc.); Governance, Risk and Compliance functions within a cyber security program. Salary: $160,000.
