Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Salary: 75-110k/year
Requirement: Mechanical Engineering and Design experience, 3D modeling

We have over 8,000 employees and grew last year by 18%. We have an urgent need for a mechanical engineer with experience designing products.

What You Will Be Doing

- Support the design and development of mechanical seals, bearings, tooling, and other products
- Create product definition packages, drawings, ECNs, and validation packages
- Participate in continuous improvement
- Provide support to customers, suppliers, sales, etc.

What You Need for this Position

- At least 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Experience supporting new design projects
- 3D modeling
- CAD
- Ability to create and interpret drawings
- Knowledge of metal composites and exposure to machining, heat treating, or grinding
