This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday. The pay is $15 -16 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. The position is onsite at our center located:6225 Hazeltine National Dr Orlando, FL 32822.
The
Infant Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom while implementing a curriculum that is appropriate for Infants. The teacher in this role should be high-energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. Youll have the opportunity to serve as a model and mentor, leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of our infants.

What Youll Do: Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
Follow all facility policies and state regulations
Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
Implement sensory-rich, age-appropriate lesson plans
Encourage children to develop language skills
Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring, and self-regulation
Maintain a well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering, eating, and napping
Track childrens progress and report to parents
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
What We Need from You: High School Diploma and/or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study required
Minimum of 30 credits in ECE
FL DCF 45 Hours required
CDA preferred
Must clear a full DCF level II background check
At least 1 year of professional experience with infants
CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment
Fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus
