EisnerAmper is looking bring on an Actuary for our Retirement Plan Consulting team. This individual will play a critical role in providing expert analysis and consulting services to our small plan clients (under 100 employees)

Numerous Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) efforts
Review new business and takeover proposals
Review contribution calculations and combined plan non-discrimination testing for defined benefit and cash balance plans.
Review calculation for distribution payments
Assist clients in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, providing insights into potential financial impacts.
Collaborate closely with clients and their advisors to understand their defined benefit and cash balance plan needs, objectives, and constraints
Review of the annual administration package (valuation report, participant statements, and Form 5500) for delivery to the client
Analyze plan data and assumptions, utilizing actuarial software and tools to assess plan performance and funding adequacy.
Review PBGC filings and AFTAP Certifications
Train and be a resource for team members.
10 + years of related experience in the pension actuarial profession; specifically working with small plans, small business Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, and Defined Contribution Plans.
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Enrolled Actuary (EA) certification is required
Actuarial credentials such as MAAA, MSEA, ASA and FSA are preferred, but not required.
Strong knowledge of actuarial principles, plan funding methodologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
